My Family's Lasagne

Making a lasagna is not complicated, but you need time to do the necessary steps. You need first to make the "ragù" and the bechamel. I prepared my personal version of ragù, that it is quicker than the original one, which takes more than 2 hours! I will post the recipe very soon. Then I've prepared the bechamel, which is very easy and better than the one you can buy in supermarkets. Click here to read the recipe. It is important to remember that this is my family version of lasagna, but there are a lot of different versions throughout Italy!


Ingredients

Lasagna sheets
Ragù
Bechamel
Parmesan
Cheese (optional)

  • Preheat the oven at 180°.
  • Put the lasagna sheets in the boiling water for few minutes, until they will become soft.
  • Take a baking tray and "dirty" it with a little bit of ragù and bechamel.
  • Now place the lasagna sheets in the baking tray up to cover the whole surface.
  • Now put the ragù, the bechamel and mix them together, covering the whole surface. Add the parmesan and some cheese if you want.

  • Repeat this procedure as long as the tray will be full, like in the picture above.
  • Now put in the oven for about 20 minutes. The cooking time depends on how large your lasagna is.
